My favorite actor

(Picture borrowed from AOL superbuddy icons )

My favorite actor is Ben Stiller. He usually acts in comedy movies and I don’t miss any of his movies. I start laughing just by looking at his face. He has acted in many movies such as “Night at the Museum”, “Along Came Polly”, “There’s something about Mary”, “Zoolander” and many others, but my favorite ones are “Meet the Parents” and “Meet the Fockers”. I could watch these films a million times and I would still love them and laugh at them.

Ben Stiller was born in New York. He is tall, cute and left-handed. Gossip magazines say that he has bipolar disorder, but he has already claimed it is false. He is a big fan of Star Trek series and he loves M&Ms just as I do. Ben also supports different charity foundations such as Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation. Right now he is producing a movie called “The Mirror” and I’m looking forward to watch it.

Now I would like to know more about your favorite actor or actress.

What would you do if you had a million dollars?

Barenaked Ladies
If I Had a Million Dollars

If I had a million dollars
(If I had a million dollars)
I'd buy you a house
(I would buy you a house)
If I had a million dollars
(If I had a million dollars)
I'd buy you furniture for your house
(Maybe a nice chesterfield or an ottoman)
And if I had a million dollars
(If I had a million dollars)
Well, I'd buy you a K-Car
(A nice Reliant automobile)
If I had a million dollars I'd buy your love

If I had a million dollars
I'd build a tree fort in our yard
If I had million dollars
You could help, it wouldn't be that hard
If I had million dollars
Maybe we could put like a little tiny fridge in there somewhere
You know, we could just go up there and hang out
Like open the fridge and stuff
There would already be laid out foods for us
Like little pre-wrapped sausages and things

They have pre-wrapped sausages but they don't have pre-wrapped bacon
Well, can you blame 'em
Uh, yeah

If I had a million dollars
(If I had a million dollars)
Well, I'd buy you a fur coat
(But not a real fur coat that's cruel)
And if I had a million dollars
(If I had a million dollars)
Well, I'd buy you an exotic pet
(Yep, like a llama or an emu)
And if I had a million dollars
(If I had a a million dollars)
Well, I'd buy you John Merrick's remains
(Ooh, all them crazy elephant bones)
And If I had a million dollars I'd buy your love

If I had a million dollars
We wouldn't have to walk to the store
If I had a million dollars
Now, we'd take a limousine 'cause it costs more
If I had a million dollars
We wouldn't have to eat Kraft Dinner
But we would eat Kraft Dinner
Of course we would, we’d just eat more
And buy really expensive ketchups with it
That’s right, all the fanciest ke... dijon ketchups!
Mmmmmm, Mmmm-Hmmm

If I had a million dollars
(If I had a million dollars)
Well, I'd buy you a green dress
(But not a real green dress, that's cruel)
And if I had a million dollars
(If I had a million dollars)
Well, I'd buy you some art
(A Picasso or a Garfunkel)
If I had a million dollars
(If I had a million dollars)
Well, I'd buy you a monkey
(Haven't you always wanted a monkey)

If I had a million dollars
I’d buy your love

If I had a million dollars, If I had a million dollars
If I had a million dollars, If I had a million dollars
If I had a million dollars
I'd be rich

Watch the video clip and then answer the following questions in the comment area:

If you had a million dollars, what would you buy?
What would you do?
Would you keep working or quit your job?
Who would you give money to?
How much would you give away?
Would you go on a spending spree?
Would you be happier than you are now?

My Dream Job

Working for NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration)
is a dream of many people. When I was a teenager, my dream could not be any different. I wanted to pursue a career at NASA. I wanted to be an astronaut or a rocket engineer.

When I was eleven years old, my dad took me to Florida to visit DisneyWorld, and I begged him to take me to Cape Canaveral to visit the Kennedy Space Center, which is one of the various NASA Centers in the US opened to the general public.

I was delighted, and my dad was too! I took many pictures and paid close attention to everything the guides said; even tough I did not understand any English at that age. Staring at those huge rockets and complicated computers, I wondered what I would have to do to get a job there. I would have to study a lot of Math, Engineering, Computer Science and English. At that time, I thought it would be a piece of cake! My dad was a Math teacher and also a computer programmer, so he could help me!

Many years went by and the only subject I managed to learn was English (well, at least one)! I quit dreaming about that job a long time ago. In fact, as time went by, I forgot about that dream... A pity, isn’t it? Well, not really! If I had become an astronaut, I wouldn’t be your English teacher right now and that would be really said, right?

Here are some pictures of my adventures at NASA and a link to
Kennedy Space Center
